- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x9 baking pan and set it aside.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the butter and brown sugar until well combined.
Add the egg and mix until smooth.
Add the flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon. Stir until combined.
Press the dough into an even layer in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar topping evenly over the dough.
Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until the middle no longer looks gooey.
Cool slightly, slice into bars and store leftovers in an airtight container.
Double the batch for a 9x13 pan.
